I ripped my pants!
Yes it is true! Our spa guests receive complimentary foot soaks (men) and foot baths (women). The technicians typically provide the foot baths in the Mind, Body and Spirit for the women and my partner and I typically provide the foot soaks in the Men's Library for the men. Well, I had set one up yesterday, at one big leather recliner, but the guest decided to sit in the other big leather recliner. So, I had to move the bowl and placemat to the opposite side. Normally I would have pulled my pants legs up just a bit before squatting down to get the bowl, but NO not this time. I was in a hurry because I had other guests waiting, so I just squatted to pick up the bowl. RRRRRRiiiiiippppppp was the only sound I heard!! I prentended like nothing at all had happened. I'm not sure I even hesitated. Finished setting up the gentlemen's foot soak and returned to the desk to take care of the others that had been waiting. Finally I was able to check myself, in the mirror and was relieved that my shirttail was long enough to cover my backside. I spent the nex fours hours feeling a slight draft.

I can't imagine you doing anything that has to do with feet. Do you have to touch them? lol My Mark would never touch feet.
ReplyDeleteHaving worn the kilt for several years now, I can tell you that I also appreciate the value of long shirt tails. Keeps that itchy wool off the delicate skin of me tender arse, donchaknow.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to second Rusty regarding you and feet. Michele and I could talk about blood and guts and cannibalism at lunch, but we weren't allowed to mention feet if you were in the room. I dinnae weel ken hoo ye can stan' it, mon!
Do you just close your eyes and go to your Happy Place?
I'm just wonderin'...
Thine,
N.
btw, good job at carrying on carrying on! You're a real trouper!
ReplyDeleteBrass it out, Danny, brass it out...
(First one to correctly identify that cinema reference gets the pleasure of knowing you're just as big a kino geek as I am...N.)
