The water finally started to go down last night about 10 P.M. What a mess!!! My freezer is running and nothing was lost, and the seal kept the water from getting to the food. The fridge is doing okay as far as I can tell. It is also running. But I have no hot water. It went out sometime yesterday afternoon.
Now for the clean-up. This is the hard part. I am hoping there is not much destroyed and it will be mostly cleaning the floor and the bottom part of the walls.
I hope everyone is dry and doing well.

I hate to hear that about your basement. It definately could have been worse, but I'm sure the clean-up will be no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteThe way things are going in your basement you might as well turn into and indoor swimming pool. At least you could sell tickets. That thing has flooded at least 3 times since I've know you. You could become a professional basement cleaner upper.
