Hey everybody. I met with Rusty on Tuesday and she told me about the new blog. I somehow got left off of the list even though she said my name was the first on the list. She forwarded the invite to me so here I am. I'm still helping out at the quilt shop. I'm teaching classes, doing block of the month demos and making displays for her. Mary, the shop owner, is keeping me quite busy. Just to keep everybody that had heard about my brother updated. He has started a new round of chemo this week, but he is doing really good. The swelling has all but gone away and the spots that were there in April were less noticeable in June. The neurosurgeon in L-ville said the chemo looks to be working and to stick with it. Keep those prayers coming, please.
A possible update to my social life. I've sorta, kinda "seeing" a new guy. The barber passed along my phone number to him and he started calling me. We've been to lunch several times and I took him to Karen's wedding, which he survived by the way. He said it was probably the most interesting wedding he had ever been to. I'll keep everybody posted as things develop. Hope to see everybody soon!!!
